The Borneo International Film Fest(BIFF) The Borneo International Film Fest 2023 brings films and filmmakers from around the World to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo for a four-day celebration of the art of cinema. BIFF hope to feature a wide variety of films from local, national, and International filmmakers, to box-office success and Oscar nominations. Adding to the BIFF experience are events featuring Celebrity Chefs, Filmmakers Film Competition, Movie Awards Gala, talented musicians and much more. The Festival hopes to attract more than 25,000 film enthusiasts, media and industry. BIFF is aiming to gain a reputation as one of the most influential and innovative film festivals in the Southeast Asia region, with a large number of new-but-unknown feature films, documentaries, and shorts from early screenings at BIFF to significant box-office success and to multiple Oscar nominations. BIFF will feature works from A-list to emerging filmmakers.
